Daniel Barnes, ”Dan,” PT, DPT, CERT-DN, LSVT BIG certified
Clinic Manager
Physical Therapist
As many PTs will tell you, I found my passion in PT through an impairment that involved my father. My dad had a stroke when I was in fifth grade and performed his rehab with Bo Renshaw. After seeing the impact that Bo made on my dad’s life without doing surgery or injections, I turned my focus on serving other through PT.
I am blessed to be a part of the company that assisted my father and even myself as I went through sports in high-school and in college. I enjoy the clinic atmosphere and am very excited to learn from my fellow clinicians and my patients. I have never met a stranger and love getting to hear everyone’s story.

Derek Hill, MAT, ATC Athletic Trainer
Ever since I was a kid I was always playing some kind of sport. I grew up very competitive and always wanted to win. I always knew I wanted to do something within the scope of medicine as a career and becoming an Athletic Trainer seemed like a perfect fit. I'm very excited to be taking care of the athletes at Mountain Pine High School and look forward to expanding the field of athletic training.

For the past seventeen years, I have had the privilege of working in the medical field. I have worked in several different specialty offices through the years, holding different administrative positions along the way. Working at Harris and Renshaw is my first venture into the physical therapy world and I have enjoyed the more personal interaction with the patients that I have not experienced before.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband, Jason, and our four daughters: Emily, Charley, Maggie, and Mackenzie. I am ALL about my family. We enjoy going to the lake, go carts, shopping, baking, or just staying in and watching a movie. I am a proud softball mamma with three of my four daughters playing the sport, so we spend a lot of time on the field.
